This project, named Blot, was funded by Hack Club, the same company who created the sprig project.
I highly suggest that anyone who is interested in STEM projects to check out Hack Club and their many many avalible projects for teens to work on for free!
In order to get this free kit in the mail to build your own plotter, you had to use their website's built in IDE to create your own piece of art. Personally, I create one about the eclipse that occured in 2024, and can be seen here

The assembly was very straightforward, and the package included stepper motors along with their respective motor controllers, a plain micro servo, and bearings. Beyond this project you could take these components and build something entirely new.
